Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Insun will visit France from April 16 to 19 to discuss bilateral economic issues between Korea and France and to attend a meeting with representatives from public institutions that support Korean companies in France.

Vice Minister Kang will meet with Laurent Saint-Martin, the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, and discuss bilateral economic issues and ways to respond to U.S. tariff policies.

She will also hold a meeting with representatives from Korean public institutions operating in France, and discuss whole-of-government support measures to facilitate the overseas activities of Korean companies.

In addition, during her visit to France, Vice Minister Kang will meet with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, and discuss Korea-OECD cooperation on key global issues.
